When entering the bakery, you directly will smell the delicious smell of the famous dutch cookie, the stroopwafel. In the store you can see and buy a variations of stroopwafels with lots of different flavours. After being in the store, you can head downstairs to begin your own stroopwafel adventure. The traditional baker will let you look at him making the famous cookies, all the demonstration are giving at these time sets: 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm and 5.30 pm. After watching the baker, you can make your own famous stroopwafel. When you are done you are able to walk through the bakery to see how life was for the dutch bakers back in the days. It is in the centre of Volendam, so it is quite difficult to park there. We would recommend the Marina parking places. Each ticket costs 5 euros, so it is cheap for a wonderful experience. This making and tasting experience is not accessible for people with mobility impairments.
